Company's Business
The Company operates its core business as a holding company, engaging in
production and sales of electricity from various types of energy, both in
Thailand and overseas. The Company’s core revenue as shown in the consolidated
financial statements is derived from revenue from sales of electricity and
steam (including electricity tariff adders) and project management income. As
at December 31, 2018, the Company has the total installed capacity of 2,167
MW, comprising 875 MW of commercially operational projects and 1,292 MW of
projects under construction.
The Company classifies its investments in the electricity production and
distribution business into three business sectors as follows:
